Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park

Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park (hereinafter referred to as "Garden Expo Park") is located in the west of Zhuzilin, Futian District, Shenzhen, covering an area of about 660000 square meters. It is a municipal park integrating garden and flower expo, culture and art, popular science education, tourism exhibition and solar power generation. It was officially opened on September 23, 2004. On September 12, 2008, the park was rated as "national key Park" by the Ministry of housing and urban rural development.

Shenzhen International Garden and flower expo garden (hereinafter referred to as "Garden Expo Garden") is located in the west section of Zhuzilin, Shennan Avenue, Shenzhen, covering an area of about 660000 square meters. It was officially opened to tourists on September 23, 2004. It is a large-scale municipal park integrating gardening, flower display, popular culture, art, architecture, science popularization, scientific research, tourism, exhibition industry and solar power generation. The Garden Expo is the venue of the 5th China International Flower Expo co sponsored by the Ministry of construction of the people's Republic of China and Shenzhen Municipal People's government. The Garden Expo is the International Expo with the highest specification, highest level and largest scale of Chinese garden flowers. There are 12 friendly countries, 67 friendly cities in China and 101 scenic spots built by enterprises and institutions in Shenzhen in this Expo, which show people 100 pictures that look like immortals. The infrastructure investment of the park is 235 million yuan. Combined with many landscape attractions, the total investment is as high as 500 million yuan, which greatly drives the operation of the surrounding landscape architecture market.

Park facilities

There are four main entrances in the park: south entrance (< the main entrance covers a total area of 29367 square meters), West entrance (< the south entrance covers a total area of 2253 square meters), north entrance (a total area of 4158 square meters) and south entrance of North District (a total area of 1210 square meters). They are located in the four directions of southeast, northwest and north respectively, which is convenient for tourists from all directions to enter and leave nearby, and can play an important role To disperse the flow of people. The width of the first grade Garden Road in the whole park is 6 meters in the south, 5 meters in the north, and the length of the first grade garden road is 3896 meters; the width of the second grade garden road is 3 meters, and the length is 1038 meters; the width of the climbing Road is 1.5 meters, and the length is 1717 meters. The garden road is naturally winding and runs through every corner of the whole garden. Walking in the garden, from south to north, through four natural artificial lakes, with a total water surface area of 25180 square meters, the whole garden gives people the realm of painting gallery building, Xuanxie mountain stone, flowing water, poetic and picturesque, and is decorated with colorful Garden Expo Garden with distinctive garden attractions from all over the world.

The modern comprehensive hall and flower hall in the garden are exhibition halls for horticultural products, flower arrangement and garden technology. The two buildings are composed of steel structure and glass curtain wall, which are crystal clear and colorful.

Park structure

The overall layout of Shenzhen Garden Expo can be summarized as North and south areas. The main basic engineering buildings are concentrated in the south area, with a total of 7 major engineering buildings, which constitute the main framework of the Garden Expo: comprehensive exhibition hall, garden flower exhibition hall, tourist management service center, two tourist service centers in the north and south areas, semi underground parking lot and open-air performance stage. The total construction area is 24592.76 square meters, including 7472.7 square meters of comprehensive exhibition hall, 4938 square meters of flower exhibition hall, 609.11 square meters of southern tourist service center, 614.9 square meters of northern tourist service center, 5191 square meters of management tourist service center and 487.9 square meters of performance stage, which can accommodate 1500 visitors The construction area of the semi underground parking lot is 6788.15 square meters. There are 168 indoor small parking spaces, 87 outdoor small parking spaces, 20 medium parking spaces and 11 large parking spaces, with a total of 286 parking spaces.

Main attractions

Local customs are most reflected in the garden works of Yuanbo Garden: Shikumen in Shanghai, Leifeng Tower in Hangzhou, eight local sceneries in Guangzhou, Baipo family in Hebei, Qindao in Xiamen, Baotu Spring in Jinan, Zhuang song fair in Nanning, Shilin in in Kunming, legend of new Hakka in Huizhou, soul of martial arts in Zhengzhou, etc. There are also gardens from all over the world, including Nepal garden, Japanese garden, Thurston planet garden, Pakistan Pavilion, Canada moon garden, French garden, Bulgarian garden, Indian garden, Kenyan garden, etc.

Historical evolution

The Garden Expo is the venue of the 5th China International Garden and flower expo co sponsored by the Ministry of housing and urban rural development (formerly the Ministry of construction) and the Shenzhen Municipal People's government. It formerly belonged to the huangniulong green isolation belt. Guided by the practice of scientific outlook on development, guided by the concept of "man and nature, harmony between man and nature", and with the theme of "nature, home and beautiful future", the Expo will display garden flowers, popularize science and technology, and promote the comprehensive, healthy, scientific and sustainable development of society. The Fifth International Horticultural Exposition abandoned the previous temporary mode of holding international horticultural exposition, creatively put forward the concept of "never ending" International Horticultural Exposition, successfully created a new mode of combining the construction of municipal park with holding international horticultural exposition, and achieved good social, economic and environmental benefits, accumulated rich experience. Later, it was imitated and used for reference by large-scale horticultural flower exhibitions held in China.

On April 8, 2005, the 5th International Horticultural Exposition was successfully concluded, and the garden was successfully transformed into a municipal park and embarked on the road of sustainable development.

Garden features

The garden of the Garden Expo contains people's accumulated wisdom about a better way of life over the years, showing the respect and inheritance of good culture. Among the nearly 100 gardens in Shenzhen Garden Expo, almost every one carries rich culture, including historical anecdotes, poems, cultural collections, local customs, paintings and sculptures, stone inscriptions, couplets and plaques, etc.

Historical anecdotes: "paradise of knowledge" shows the joy of knowing both fish and people; "butterfly (fate) garden" depicts the love story between Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai; "Hubei garden" depicts the allusion between Zhuge Liang and Liu Bei Longzhong; "Dongpo garden" records the story of Su Dongpo's demotion to Huizhou; "Baozhi garden" tells the patriotic story of Huang Feihong.

Local customs: "Shiku Xinyuan" shows the new scenery of Shanghai, "ink Jiangnan garden" shows the beautiful scenery of West Lake in Hangzhou, "Baipo family" shows the traditional dwellings in Hebei, "Ludao Qinyun" shows the customs of Qindao in Xiamen, "Zhuang Folk Song fair" shows the national customs of Nanning in Guangxi.

Cultural collection: "Cangtai garden" collects five pegs with a history of thousands of years, reflecting the artistic pursuit of people's life in Guanzhong of Shaanxi Province; "ancient kiln relic" displays many antique ceramics, showing the long history of porcelain making in Changsha of Hunan Province.

At the same time, the park is also an ecological garden. Through careful planning, design and scientific transformation, on the one hand, it enriches the plant landscape resources in the garden. The green coverage rate of the Expo Park is over 93%. There are more than 900 species of cultivated plants in 137 families, 366 genera, including 26 species of Pteridophytes in 14 families, 21 genera, 36 species of gymnosperms in 9 families, and more than 800 species of angiosperms in 114 families, 325 genera. Most of these plants are representative native trees and garden plants, and even some are rare and endangered plants, such as Alsophila spinulosa and silverstamen. On the other hand, it creates a good landscape skeleton. Nearly 100 picturesque scenic spots have been built, the original mountains seriously damaged by mining have been protected, and the green landscape has been restored
