Tomb of Zhu Youxun
It is located at the foot of zhengdang mountain, 12 kilometers away from the eastern suburb of Chengdu. Excavated in 1979, the tomb is 28 meters long, 8.96 meters wide and 6.59 meters high.
The gate, vestibule, second gate, main court, main hall, atrium and back hall are all made of imitation wood, glazed tile and stone buildings. The front, main and atrium are equipped with wing rooms on the left and right sides. The doors, windows, appendix, forehead and roof of the room are engraved with lotus, peony, water chestnut, chrysanthemum, banana leaf, conch, Pisces, fire wheel, cloud and other kinds of vermilion patterns. The chairs, censers and coffins are exquisitely carved. Inlaid in the center of the glass wall of the back hall, the round hollowed out glazed pottery Panlong painted with gold is particularly vivid. According to the enlarged records unearthed from the tomb, Zhu Youxun (1409-1434), king of Shu, was the third son of Zhu YUELIAN, king of Shu. After the establishment of Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang granted his eleventh son Zhuge the title of Shu, and Youxun became the third king of Shu. In July 1424, Yongle was canonized as the king of Luojiang. In the seventh year of Xuande (1432), his elder brother Zhu Youyu (the eldest son of Lian in ZhuYue grain station) was granted the title of king of Shu. In the ninth year of Xuande, he died of wind disease and was granted the title of Yi Fu. Both Ming history and Huayang county annals mistakenly refer to Zhu Youxun, the king of Shu, as Zhu youtang. The excavation of Shu's enlarged annals corrects the mistakes in Ming history. It has been restored and opened to the outside world.
