1. Historical evolution

Cangzhou Normal University was founded in 1958. After several changes, it changed its name several times. In 1962, the College changed its name to Cangzhou normal school, merged into Botou normal school in 1970, rebuilt Cangzhou normal school in 1976, and upgraded to Cangzhou normal college in 1984. In May 1991, it merged with Cangzhou regional education college to be called Cangzhou normal college.
