In 1953, the Central Sports Commission and the Northeast People's government set up the Preparatory Committee of northeast sports college, which was jointly composed of the northeast culture and Culture Commission, the Northeast Education Bureau and the Northeast Sports Commission, according to the development plan of the Central People's government to build the Northeast sports college, the predecessor of Shenyang sports college.
