Luliang college, founded in 1978, is a provincial college. The school is located in Luliang City, an emerging city in the west of Shanxi Province, with Wudang scenery in the north and Yellow River scenery in the West. National Highway 307, Taiyuan Liuzhou Expressway and Taiyuan Zhongyin railway under construction meet here, and are adjacent to the provincial capital Taiyuan, Yaodu Linfen and the Holy Land Yan'an. The campus covers an area of 1485.39 mu, with a construction area of 265000 square meters and a construction area of 143000 square meters under construction. With complete infrastructure and elegant environment, the campus is an ideal place for students to live, study and research. The new campus covering an area of 1039 Mu will be put into use soon.

School scale: the school has 18 teaching departments (departments), 40 undergraduate and junior college majors, covering seven disciplines, such as literature and history, science and engineering, foreign language, law, management, economy and art. It has formed a multi-level and multi form school running pattern of undergraduate education, junior college education and adult education. At present, there are 7016 full-time school-based and junior college students from Shanxi, Shaanxi, Henan, Ningxia, Shandong and other 10 provinces and autonomous regions.

School conditions: the school has a collection of more than 750000 books, more than 1000 kinds of journals, and provides readers with modern e-books and computer network services. It has more than 70 experimental training rooms with advanced equipment, the total value of equipment is more than 50 million yuan, and the opening rate of compulsory experimental training projects reaches 100%. 73 off campus practice and training bases were established. The school has advanced equipment, full-featured campus TV station, campus network, microteaching laboratory, etc. The perfect school running conditions lay a good material foundation for the cultivation of high-quality talents.

Teaching staff: the school has 408 teachers, including 158 professors and associate professors, 176 with graduate degree or master's degree or above, and 52 Teachers with doctoral or master's degree. There are 187 teachers with the quality of "Double Teachers". At present, the school has formed a sufficient number of teachers with reasonable structure and excellent quality to meet the needs of teaching and professional construction and development.

Teaching and scientific research: thirty years of spring and autumn, passed down from generation to generation. Over the past 30 years, the school has honed the motto of "respecting truth, seeking truth, erudition and innovation", fostered and formed a fine school spirit of "unity, civilization, dedication and enterprising", and steadily improved the teaching quality and scientific research level. Over the years, the university has made remarkable achievements in the national mathematical modeling contest, English level examination, computer level examination and postgraduate entrance examination, ranking among the best in the same kind of universities in the province. In the past three years, our teachers have undertaken 2 national scientific research projects, 12 provincial scientific research projects, and obtained 6 patents; published more than 130 teaching materials and works, of which more than 30 teaching materials are listed as "higher vocational planning teaching materials of the Ministry of education"; published more than 1000 research papers in various journals, of which more than 300 are national journals, and 26 are included in EI and SCI.

Personnel training: the school always takes the cultivation of high-quality talents as the central task of running a school, and carries out in-depth education and teaching reform with a new school running concept. All previous graduates are generally praised by employers and Society for their excellent ideological and political quality, solid professional foundation, high comprehensive quality, strong adaptability and sufficient development potential. For this reason, the university has successively won the "advanced unit of teaching reform", "advanced unit of teaching staff construction", "advanced unit of teaching management", "advanced collective of employment work for college graduates", "model school of moral education", "model school of running school according to law", "advanced collective of Ideological and political education for college students" and "advanced collective of Education Cup" in Shanxi Province "Collective" and other honorary titles. The way of entering a higher school: the school implements the method of "upgrading from college to university" for excellent students. Through the "upgrading from college to university" examination organized by the Provincial Department of education, excellent students are selected to further their studies in the same or similar majors of undergraduate colleges and universities, and obtain bachelor's degree and bachelor's degree after completing their studies. The experimental specialty of educational reform has the qualification of "upgrading from junior college to undergraduate".

The first phase project of the new campus with an investment of 660 million yuan is about to be completed, and the overall relocation is expected to be completed by the end of October. At present, the university is making great efforts to carry out the battle of "upgrading" to meet the assessment of upgrading at the end of the year. In the near future, a new undergraduate college will be established in Shanxi.
