Hubei Police Academy

Hubei Police College of China is located at No.86 Jiefang Avenue, Wuhan, the central city of central China, which is the thoroughfare of nine provinces. It is an ordinary public security undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of education and Hubei provincial government in May 2002. Its predecessor can be traced back to the "cadre training class of Public Security Department of Hubei Provincial People's government" established in July 1949. It has gone through the development stages of on-the-job police training, technical secondary school, junior college and undergraduate education. In April 2005, the college obtained the bachelor's degree awarding qualification.  

The college covers an area of 992 mu, including 472 mu of the college headquarters, 112 mu of Nanhu driving training center, 408 mu of practical training base (Suizhou), 273593 square meters of building area, 36.499 million yuan of teaching equipment, 600000 books (including 370000 paper books and 230000 e-books) in the library, and the public security books reach the national research level The public security network is connected with the China Education and research network and the national public security computer network. The college has 427 faculty members, including 89 professors and associate professors, 11 doctors and 128 postgraduates. In the past five years, 171 teaching and scientific research projects have been established, including 55 provincial and ministerial level projects; 93 academic monographs and textbooks have been published; 1190 academic papers have been published in journals at or above the provincial level, including 225 core and above journals. The teaching and scientific research level of the college is in the forefront of similar colleges and universities in China. The college has eight general undergraduate majors, including investigation, public security, criminal science and technology, computer science and technology, information security, law, public utilities management and fire engineering, as well as criminal investigation, economic crime investigation, investigation technology, preliminary examination, security, public security management, police management, traffic management, Entry-Exit management, law, computer and information management and police It is the cradle of training senior police professionals. The college attaches equal importance to academic education and on-the-job police training. It is the "national county (city) public security bureau director and political commissar post training base" and "national public security exit and entry management cadre English training base" designated by the Ministry of public security, the "Hubei Provincial Political and legal cadre education and training center" determined by Hubei Provincial Political and Legal Commission, and the Hubei public security police training center.
