Hebei Media College

Hebei Media College is a private full-time undergraduate college with the major of media and art, and the compatibility of Arts, arts, engineering, management, teaching and other disciplines. The international code is 12784, which has been filed by the Ministry of education.

Founded in 2000, the University was upgraded in 2005 and enrolled the first undergraduate students. In 2007, it was officially upgraded to an undergraduate university with the approval of the Ministry of education. In 2009, it was granted the right to confer a bachelor's degree. In 2011, it was approved by the National Academic Degrees Committee to obtain the full-time postgraduate enrollment qualification. In 2013, it began to recruit and train doctoral students jointly with China Academy of Arts. In 2015, it was identified as a pilot University of "transformation and development" in Hebei Province, and successfully passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of education.

The school is located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, covering an area of 2060 mu. It has two campuses, Xing'an campus and Jian'an campus. There are graduate school, School of film and Television Arts, School of Journalism and communication, School of art design, School of dance arts, School of performing arts, School of art and sports, School of animation, School of information technology and cultural management, School of international communication, School of football, vocational and Technical College and other secondary colleges. There are 42 undergraduate majors, 17 specialist majors and 3 master's majors. There are 15000 full-time students.

It has "media integration cloud experimental teaching demonstration center" and "all media digital music experimental teaching demonstration center", and has established the Provincial College Students' off campus practice education base, professional degree postgraduate training practice base, school level practice base, experimental training room, etc. The 4000 square meter cultural and creative industrial park can provide 3000 students with internship every year. The 1200 square meter studio, 400 square meter media studio, panoramic studio, virtual studio, special photography laboratory, mixed recording studio, mimetic studio and premixed studio have reached the advanced level in China and the industry. Alai professional film camera, aerial remote control UAV and other advanced equipment can meet the needs of conventional teaching.

With a total area of 10006 square meters, the library has 1.28 million Chinese and foreign paper books, 1109 Chinese and foreign periodicals, and 119000 electronic periodicals. It has opened Wanfang database, CNKI database, KUKE digital music library, superstar academic video library and other resource databases, purchased superstar reading show and hundred chain resource retrieval platform, and the campus information construction meets the requirements of teaching and scientific research.

In the past five years, the university has undertaken more than 150 vertical projects and 53 horizontal projects, published more than 1250 academic papers, including more than 100 core journals, published 65 academic works and textbooks, and created more than 300 works of art.
