Huangshan university is located in Huangshan City, Anhui Province, which is an excellent tourist city in China with beautiful scenery and rich writing style. The school was founded in 1978, formerly known as Huizhou teachers college. In December 1997, the school changed its name to Huangshan college. In February 2002, with the approval of the Ministry of education, Huangshan college was upgraded to Huangshan college.

The school is divided into South and North campuses, covering an area of 1800 mu. The campus is rich in ecology, beautiful environment and profound cultural heritage.
