Shanghai Institute of Electrical Engineering

Shanghai Institute of electrical engineering is a full-time university with engineering as the main subject and multi-disciplinary infiltration and coordinated development in related fields. The school was founded in 1953, formerly known as Shanghai Electrical machinery manufacturing school. In September 2004, with the approval of Shanghai Municipal People's government, it was upgraded to a full-time regular university. In October 2011, the University was listed by the degree Office of the State Council as the pilot unit of professional degree graduate students of "talent training project for serving the special needs of the country", and began the postgraduate education.
