School history

In 1949, the nursing school attached to Bengbu Municipal Workers' Union Hospital was founded.

In 1953, it was renamed Bengbu nursing school in Anhui Province.

In 1958, it was renamed Bengbu health school in Anhui Province.

In 1969, it was renamed Suxian District Health School in Anhui Province.

In 1999, it was renamed Suzhou health school in Anhui Province.

In 2005, Suzhou health school in Anhui Province was recognized as a national key secondary vocational school by the Ministry of education.

In 2006, the University moved into the new campus of Suzhou University Park.

In May 2014, approved by the people's Government of Anhui Province and put on record by the Ministry of education, it became a higher vocational college at the junior college level and renamed as Wanbei health vocational college.
