Shenyang Jianzhu University is a University jointly built by the Ministry and the province with the characteristics of architecture, civil engineering, machinery and other disciplines, mainly engineering, coordinated development of engineering, management, science, arts, agriculture, law, art and other disciplines. It was originally subordinate to the Ministry of construction of the people's Republic of China. In 2000, it was put under the management of Liaoning Province in the adjustment of the national school management system. In 2010, the Liaoning provincial government and the Ministry of housing and urban rural development signed an agreement to jointly build Shenyang Jianzhu University in Beijing, which laid a solid foundation for the university to create a distinctive and high-level architectural University and set up a new platform for further strengthening the relationship between the University and the industry and the competent departments of the industry.

The school is located in the main campus of Shenyang Hunnan New District, covering an area of 1500 mu and a construction area of 480000 square meters. The undergraduate education of the university includes 24 professional categories under 7 categories, with a total of 45 majors. In September 2006, our university passed the undergraduate teaching evaluation of the Ministry of education with excellent results. Architecture, urban planning, civil engineering, water supply and drainage engineering, building environment and equipment engineering and engineering management have passed the national professional education evaluation with the longest validity period.
