Renmin University of China (Suzhou campus)

On September 4, 2012, Renmin University of China officially issued a document to set up Suzhou campus, which is fully responsible for the management of teaching and research institutions and social service institutions such as International College (Suzhou Research Institute) and Chinese law school. Suzhou campus of Renmin University of China is an important part and new growth point of Renmin University's overall career development. It is a teaching and research base for East China; an experimental base for international cooperation in running schools and cultivating high-end talents; and a base for expanding and upgrading advantageous disciplines. Renmin University of China has established the Suzhou Campus Management Committee, as the leading body of Suzhou campus, which is mainly responsible for the overall strategic planning of Suzhou campus, decision-making of major issues and the formulation and coordination of relevant supporting policies for Suzhou campus. Chen Yulu, President of Renmin University of China, is the director of the Management Committee of Suzhou campus. Yi Zhihong, vice president, and Yang Weiguo, assistant president, are the deputy directors of the management committee.
