Founded in 1989, Hunan Vocational College of industry and commerce is a comprehensive full-time higher vocational college approved by the people's Government of Hunan Province and put on record by the Ministry of education. The college is located in Hengyang City, a famous historical and cultural city in China, the second largest city in Hunan Province, and one of the four ancient academies in China. The campus covers an area of more than 300 mu, with a construction area of nearly 100000 square meters. The campus environment is beautiful, the buildings are tall and straight, the woods are luxuriant and the grass is luxuriant.

With the tenet of "prospering the school with quality and strengthening the school with characteristics", the college adheres to the motto of "morality, ability, application and innovation", and creates the brand of "industry and commerce" vocational education.
