Botou Vocational College

Botou vocational college is a state-run full-time ordinary university approved by Hebei provincial government to be reconstructed from Botou branch of Cangzhou Teachers College, which implements college level education. She is a famous historical school with glorious revolutionary tradition. Its predecessor was Botou normal school in Hebei Province, which was founded in September 1925 and is known as "Huangpu in Cangzhou". Over the past 80 years, the university has trained nearly 30000 graduates and made remarkable contributions to China's revolution and construction. Since the 1950s, specialized courses have been held.

The college is located in Botou City, which is known as "China's famous foundry city", "hometown of automobile mold" and "the first township of Yali in China". It is adjacent to the Bohai Sea in the East and Beijing Tianjin in the north. National roads 104 and 106, Beijing Fuzhou Expressway, Beijing Shanghai railway and Beijing Shanghai high speed railway run through the city. The college is less than 2 kilometers away from the railway station in the East. There are more than 1, 2, 10 urban buses at the entrance of the college. The college covers an area of 539 mu, with a construction area of 110000 square meters. There are four teaching buildings, nine student apartments, three large student restaurants, office buildings, library buildings, science and technology buildings, art buildings, auditorium, sports viewing platform and high standard sports ground. The total fixed assets of the college is 250 million yuan. It has all kinds of laboratories and professional classrooms with complete equipment and conditions. Technical secondary school department, public teaching department, in-service staff training department and scientific research center. The college has 230 teachers from 15 provinces and cities in China. They graduated from 31 universities, including Nankai University, Jilin University, Beijing Normal University, Northeast Normal University, Shaanxi Normal University, Hebei University and Southwest University. They have achieved a great integration of teachers' thinking, culture and academy. Among them, more than 60% of them are qualified for senior professional titles, 15% are double qualified teachers, and 3 are super grade teachers. Three of them have won Zeng Xianzi Foundation Award. In order to meet the development needs, the college has started to plan and build a new campus, with a planned investment of 120 million yuan to build a 60000 square meter new school building with complete functions. The college will set up an internship and training base respectively in the chemical industry park of Bohai new area, Botou Development Zone, Beijing Industrial and commercial talent center, credit building business group and port of Bohai new area to meet the operation and training needs of various majors.

At the same time, Shifang middle school was founded in 2000, and Cangzhou art high school in Hebei Province was founded in 2002. The college has developed into a large group education unit integrating vocational education, normal education and general education. The famous school with a long history is full of vitality.
