Hefei Polytechnic

Hefei vocational and technical college is subordinate to the people's Government of Hefei city. It is under the leadership of the Provincial Department of education in business. It is the construction unit of national innovation and development of high-quality vocational colleges, the first batch of local skilled high-level universities in Anhui Province, and the only municipal comprehensive vocational college in Hefei. As of September 2016, the college has 10281 full-time vocational students and 1720 TVU (aopeng) academic education students.

The college covers an area of 1230 mu, with a total construction area of 500000 square meters and a total investment of 2.3 billion yuan. There are 539 teaching staff, 379 full-time teachers and 23 professors. The teachers with high and intermediate professional titles account for 80.7% of the total number of teachers, the "double qualification" teachers account for 73.4% of the total number of full-time teachers and 175 part-time teachers inside and outside the school. The conditions of running the college can meet the needs of students' study and life. The dormitories for students are four rooms with air conditioning and independent toilets.

Based on three-year higher vocational education, the college enrolled students from Zhejiang, Henan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi and Fujian provinces at the same time in 2017. There are 40 enrollment majors in six college industry groups, including medicine and health, finance and commerce, equipment manufacturing, electronic information, food, medicine and grain, and civil engineering and construction. It has created nursing, automobile detection and maintenance technology, accounting, and medical inspection Technology, pharmacy, mold design and manufacturing, engineering cost, e-commerce, construction engineering technology and a number of brand specialties with important influence and distinctive characteristics in the province.

The Hefei campus under construction covers an area of 446 mu, with a total budget investment of 1.48 billion yuan. After the completion of Hefei campus in 2018, the school running pattern of "one school, two districts" will be opened, and eventually the college will be built into a "first-class in Anhui Province, well-known in China" vanguard of Higher Vocational Education in Anhui Province.
