Daqing Medical College

The predecessor of Daqing Medical College, health school of Daqing Petroleum Administration Bureau, was established in 1965. Daqing staff medical college was established on the basis of health school in 1985. In August 2002, the University began to apply for the establishment of Daqing Medical College on the basis of Daqing staff Medical College (Health School of Daqing Petroleum Administration Bureau). In February 2006, it was approved by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China and became an independent medical college in Heilongjiang Province. In December 2010, the school passed the personnel training assessment of the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China, and in April 2013, it successfully passed the return visit of the provincial higher vocational personnel training assessment; in 2011, the school became one of the eight "backbone higher vocational colleges construction project" colleges in Heilongjiang Province; In 2012, he became the chairman of the Teaching Steering Committee of medical and health specialty construction in Higher Vocational Colleges of Heilongjiang Province. In 2013, he became the chairman of the sub committee of clinical medicine specialty, rehabilitation treatment technology and midwifery specialty of the Teaching Steering Committee of medical and health specialty construction in Higher Vocational Colleges of Heilongjiang Province; In 2015, he became the vice chairman unit of College Students' mental health education and counseling in Heilongjiang Province. At present, the school is mainly based on general specialized education, supplemented by adult education and continuing education. The school now offers 11 specialties, including nursing, rehabilitation treatment technology, clinical medicine, Stomatology, stomatology technology, pharmacy, medical testing technology, midwifery, medical nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and massage. At present, there are 2 specialties (rehabilitation treatment technology and clinical medicine) supported by the state finance to improve service ability; 3 key specialties (nursing, rehabilitation treatment technology and clinical medicine) constructed in backbone Vocational Colleges of Heilongjiang Province; 6 key specialties (rehabilitation treatment technology, clinical medicine, Stomatology, stomatology technology, pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Technology) constructed in Heilongjiang Province; In 2016, rehabilitation treatment technology specialty became a national demonstration specialty of elderly care service. At present, the school has 8 courses: anatomy, pathology, physiology, obstetrics and gynecology nursing, pediatric nursing technology, internal medicine nursing technology, diagnosis and treatment of common diseases in internal medicine, and exercise therapy technology. It is a provincial excellent course. At the same time, the on-the-job training of employees is carried out, which is the general medical education base of Heilongjiang Provincial Department of health, the training base for rural health technicians, the credit granting base for medical continuing education, the general practitioner training base and reemployment training base of Daqing City, and the employee training base of Daqing Oilfield Co., Ltd.

The school has 3190 full-time college students and 121 adult students.

At present, the school covers an area of 246000 square meters, with a building area of 75000 square meters. The total value of fixed assets is 99.71 million yuan, including 27.82 million yuan of teaching equipment and 240000 books. The school has "two institutes and one center" (Daqing Institute of special pathogens, eugenics and Genetics Institute, and judicial identification center), and has the only specialized hospital in Northeast China (Daqing allergic disease hospital) as its outpatient department. The affiliated hospitals of the school are Daqing Oilfield General Hospital, Longnan hospital and Daqing traditional Chinese medicine hospital. We have built 20 professional course training centers which are in line with the actual clinical work, modernized and highly simulated. There is one training base project supported by the State Finance (nursing training center) and one key construction project of higher vocational education training base in Heilongjiang Province (rehabilitation treatment technology training base). The University and college jointly build 54 off campus training bases that radiate the whole country, including the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Zhongshan Medical University, Shenzhen Peking University Hospital, Beijing Armed Police General Hospital, etc.

The school has 8 teaching departments (departments and institutes), 9 logistics departments and 6 directly subordinate departments. At present, there are 324 teaching staff, including 139 full-time teachers. Among the teachers, there are 48 with senior professional titles (including 13 with senior professional titles and 35 with deputy senior professional titles), and 75 with master's degree or above. 304 clinical medical experts were employed as part-time teachers from major hospitals in Daqing. The school has established the characteristic talent training mode of "skill + specialty) × attitude". To solve the problem of "how to do things" and employment by training students' skills and specialties, to solve the problem of "how to be a person" and sustainable development by training students' attitude, to strengthen the cultivation of students' professional ability and pay more attention to the all-round development of students. On the basis of Heilongjiang Province, the enrollment covers 22 provinces (cities) including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Anhui, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Guangdong, Guangxi, Sichuan, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai and Ningxia. In recent years, the one-time employment rate of school graduates is higher than the average level of the whole province, and the pass rate of student nurse qualification examination has reached more than 96%. The employment areas mainly include Harbin, Qiqihar and Daqing in the province, and Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Liaoning, Jilin, Fujian, Haikou in Hainan, Qingdao in Shandong, Shijiazhuang in Hebei, Zhengzhou in Henan, Baotou in Inner Mongolia and other places outside the province; 17 students passed the examination and went to New Zealand, Japan and other countries for study and employment.

Since its establishment, it has trained more than 25600 graduates. Some of them have become leaders of their units, and many of them have become business backbones. In particular, nursing graduates are welcomed by Daqing and even the National Petroleum System medical units, which has improved the situation of Daqing nursing team. According to statistics, 80% of the nurses and 90% of the head nurses in major hospitals in Daqing are trained by our school, and 60% of the doctors and medical technicians in factories and mines (districts) level hospitals in Daqing are graduates of our school.
