Gannan Normal University is located in Ganzhou, a national historical and cultural city in the south of Jiangxi Province and on the Beijing Kowloon line. Founded in June 1958, the university is the only Provincial Normal University with the right to confer master's degree in the marginal areas of Jiangxi, Guangdong, Fujian and Hunan provinces.
