The campus has beautiful environment, complete facilities and strong traditional cultural characteristics. As the only university in China with the right to confer master's degree in Tibetan medicine, after years of development, a number of advantageous and characteristic disciplines have been formed. The college actively carries out foreign cooperation and exchanges, and has established cooperative relations with Beijing University of traditional Chinese medicine, Shanghai University of traditional Chinese medicine, Guangzhou University of traditional Chinese medicine, Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine, Tianjin University, Jiangxi University of traditional Chinese medicine, Xinjiang Uygur Medical College and other universities. Looking back on the past, it has been fruitful. In the 17 years since its establishment, the college has trained and transported more than 1100 Tibetan medicine professionals at all levels for Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan, Yunnan, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and other provinces; compiled the first and only undergraduate teaching syllabus of Tibetan medicine in the history of Tibetan medicine; compiled the world's first set of modern teaching materials and the first set of undergraduate teaching trial of Tibetan medicine We have trained the world's first undergraduate students majoring in Tibetan medicine, the first junior college students majoring in Tibetan medicine, the first undergraduate students majoring in Tibetan medicine, the first adult students majoring in Tibetan medicine and the first postgraduate students majoring in astronomy and astrology, trained the world's first batch of master's degree students majoring in Tibetan medicine, and recruited the world's first batch of Tibetan doctor's degree students in the form of joint training with Beijing University of traditional Chinese medicine.
