Changsha Vocational and Technical College

Changsha Vocational and technical college is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college sponsored by Changsha Municipal People's government. Its predecessor was Hunan Liuyang normal school founded by Tan Sitong's wife Li run in 1902. Hu Yaobang, Yang Yong and other comrades have studied in our school. At present, the college has three campuses: Leifeng (main) campus, Liuyang (East) campus and Tianxin (South) campus, covering an area of more than 600 mu, with more than 7300 students; the college has more than 580 teaching staff, including 83 professors and associate professors; 145 teachers with doctor's and master's degree; 276 teachers with double qualification.

The college has 6 departments and 3 departments, including mechanical engineering department, automobile engineering department, architecture and art design department, economic and trade management department, humanities and information science department, special education and preschool education department, basic courses and ideological and political course teaching department, secondary vocational teaching department and adult education training department. It also has automobile application technology, automobile manufacturing and equipment technology, urban rail transit operation management and mechanical training department There are 26 majors in manufacturing and automation, mechatronics technology, architectural engineering technology, landscape engineering technology, advertising design and production, accounting computerization, logistics management, computer network technology, special education, preschool education, etc. The college is the only special education teacher training base in Hunan Province. It is a project unit of "special education school phase II construction" by national development and Reform Commission, Ministry of education and China Disabled Persons' Federation, a training base construction project unit of the central finance, a professional service industry capacity construction project unit of the central finance, and an educational science research base in Hunan Province. It also has a national vocational skill appraisal institute and a re Training Institute Industry training base.
