Jining Normal University

Jining Normal University is a school with profound historical origin and cultural heritage. In 1931, Suiyuan provincial second normal school was founded in Jining, which started the modern normal education in Ulanqab. In 1958, relying on the former Jining normal school, Jining normal college was officially born. In 1983, Wulanchabu League education college was established, which was jointly run by Wulanchabu normal college. In 1995, Ulanqab teachers college was renamed Jining Teachers College. In 2006, it was rated as "excellent" in the national evaluation of talent cultivation in higher vocational colleges. On March 26, 2009, the Ministry of Education approved our university to be upgraded to an undergraduate university, named Jining Normal University.

Since its founding 50 years ago, Jining Normal University has been based on the frontier minority poverty-stricken areas, adhering to the school motto of "seeking truth and innovation, serving as a model for others", focusing on Strengthening Students' moral education and teaching ability, and serving the basic education in the frontier minority poverty-stricken areas, forming a distinctive discipline characteristics and certain school running advantages.

Jining Normal University has 7726 students from Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Shandong, Henan, Hebei, Shaanxi, Gansu, Hunan, Jiangxi, Heilongjiang, Ningxia, Yunnan and other provinces (autonomous regions). The college has formed a discipline system with humanities (literature, history), sociology (Pedagogy) and science as the main subjects, and engineering, agriculture, management and other common development. There are 35 majors in Chinese education, mathematics education, software technology and electronic information engineering technology. In 2009, the first batch of undergraduates will be enrolled in Chinese language and literature, mathematics and applied mathematics, computer science and technology, physics, ideological and political education and chemistry.

At present, there are 487 full-time teachers in the college. Among them, 165 have graduate education and 161 have the title of deputy senior or above, including 25 professors. Among the teachers, there are 2 experts with special allowance from the State Council, 1 young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contribution from the autonomous region, 5 excellent teachers from the autonomous region, 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 4 third prize of Teacher Award of Higher Normal University of Zeng Xianzi education fund, 4 experts of 321 Talent Engineering in Inner Mongolia, 30 interdisciplinary leaders and outstanding scientific and technological workers in Wulanchabu City, and 1 discipline leader and skeleton There are 62 teachers.

In the past 50 years since its establishment, the university has trained 35000 graduates, most of whom are able to go down, stay, use and use well. They have made contributions to the basic education of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, especially Ulanqab city.

In the past three years, the university has attached great importance to discipline construction and scientific research, applied for 23 scientific research projects and completed 16. Among them, there are 1 national level project and 15 provincial and ministerial level projects. In the past three years, the school teachers have published 13 monographs and textbooks, and published more than 160 papers. Among them, 25 papers have been published in international influential journals or domestic core journals, and 3 papers have been included or copied by ISTP, EI, National People's Congress, etc. The school has organized and funded the publication of more than 20 "Xingtan literature series". The scientific research achievements of the school teachers have won 9 awards such as the Excellent Achievements Award of Social Sciences of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

According to the local economy and society and the reality of the University, the university has 12 research institutes, which actively carry out scientific research and education and teaching research activities relying on the relevant relations and majors, and have achieved certain results.

The college covers an area of 691245.7 square meters (1036.8 mu), with a total construction area of 259849 square meters. The total value of equipment is 67.1265 million yuan. It is suitable for 790400 books and 100000 e-books.

The experimental middle school affiliated to Jining Normal University is the education and teaching practice base of the school and one of the most influential middle schools in Ulanqab. The college has 25 fixed practice schools and 18 training bases.

At present, under the leadership of the party and government team, all teachers and students of the college work hard to build a qualified undergraduate university.
