Anhui University of information engineering is an independent full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of education in April 2016.
In 2012, with the strong support of the people's Government of Anhui Province, iFLYTEK Co., Ltd., the largest voice listed company in the Asia Pacific region, cooperated with Anhui University of engineering, a provincial key university, to hold the school of mechanical and electrical engineering. In 2016, it was approved by the Ministry of education as an independent full-time regular undergraduate university, and was transferred to Anhui University of information engineering. The college is located in Wuhu, a sub central city of Anhui Province, which enjoys the reputation of "national civilized city" and "national garden city". At present, it has two campuses, Wenjin and Xinwu, with a total area of more than 1300 Mu and nearly 9000 students. History of running a school
In 1978, the State Council approved the upgrading of the former teaching center of Hefei University of technology to a full-time ordinary university Anhui Institute of mechanical and electrical engineering;
In 2001, Anhui Institute of mechanical and electrical engineering changed its name to Anhui Institute of engineering and technology;
In 2003, Anhui Institute of engineering and technology held the mechanical and electrical College of Anhui Institute of engineering and technology;
In 2010, Anhui University of Engineering changed its name to Anhui University of engineering, and the former college of mechanical and electrical engineering of Anhui University of Engineering changed its name to College of mechanical and electrical engineering of Anhui University of engineering;
In 2012, with the strong support of Anhui Provincial People's government, Anhui University of technology and iFLYTEK Co., Ltd. jointly held the school of mechanical and electrical engineering of Anhui University of technology;

The college continues to promote the innovation and exploration of Application-oriented Undergraduate Education and talent training mode, learning from the CDIO Engineering Education Mode of European and American application-oriented and engineering universities, reforming the teaching content and teaching methods of theoretical courses and practical projects, and building the curriculum system and curriculum by learning from SE2004 and other research results; Using Addie teaching design model theory and method to promote the reform of education and teaching, especially the curriculum; using American abet and other international engineering education certification concepts, standards and processes to build the training objectives, education implementation, evaluation and improvement mechanism of the college. The innovation mode of "three systems" runs through the whole process
(1) "Three stages, sandwich" training mode.
The college adopts the three-stage training mode of "mathematical foundation and professional core basic courses + professional skills and project practice + enterprise practice and graduation thesis". Mathematical foundation is the foundation of engineering and management. Professional skills are the core of practical ability. Enterprise practice and graduation thesis are the important practical links of applied talents training. At the same time, the college draws lessons from the training mode of European University of engineers to ensure that students have 4-6 months of enterprise internship directly related to their majors in the four-year learning process. On the whole, it forms a "three-stage, sandwich" training mode of "learning before practice, learning after practice, learning and practice in one".
(2) "Three semester system" teaching arrangement.
The college sets up a 40 day summer semester in the summer, including practical training courses, professional skills intensive training, management case sharing, industry lectures, vocational skills guidance and other courses. Through the "three semester" teaching arrangement, students' learning content is enriched and chemistry learning effect is enhanced.
(3) "Three centers" platform support.
The college has built a "comprehensive quality training and Development Center for college students" (Sutuo Center for short), which coordinates the teaching of comprehensive quality and ability training courses, and provides basic theory and development platform support for the improvement of students' comprehensive quality. 2. To promote the ability development of "entry type" by comprehensive quality education
The college's comprehensive quality education will reform the existing curriculum and teaching mode of general education and cultural quality education in traditional colleges and universities, take the enterprise's demand for professional quality and comprehensive ability as the guidance, and train graduates to become professionals. The comprehensive quality education is composed of a number of modern professional comprehensive quality and ability unit fields which have been scientifically researched and designed. It requires that each undergraduate must take a number of compulsory and elective courses in each knowledge and ability field, and meet the certification requirements of the college. 3. Promote the international integration of undergraduate education with "individualized training and timely trial credit system"
(1) Individualized training.
The college provides students with the opportunity to choose their own majors one year later. Some courses and projects are taught in different classes. Personalized training programs are adopted for students who are determined to take the postgraduate entrance examination. (2) The full credit system should be adopted at the right time.
At present, the credit semester system is widely used in domestic colleges and universities, while the full credit system is widely used in the world.
