Beijing Agricultural Vocational College is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Beijing municipal government and registered by the Ministry of education. Beijing Agricultural Vocational College was established in June 2001 by the merger of the former Beijing Academy of agricultural management, which was founded in 1984, and the former Beijing Agricultural School, which was founded in 1958. In the past five years, the scale of the college has been expanding. With the approval of the municipal government, the college merged the former Beijing urban and rural construction school and the former Beijing Bayi Agricultural Mechanization School in May 2003 and December 2004, and established Beiyuan branch and Qinghe Branch, forming a new pattern of "one College and four districts". The achievements of the college's reform and construction have been highly recognized by the state and Beijing. In October 2005, the college was rated as "national civilized unit" by the Central Steering Committee of spiritual civilization construction; in March 2006, the college was jointly awarded the honorary title of "advanced unit of Vocational Education in Beijing" by the Municipal Education Commission and other departments. By the end of 2005, the college had a total area of 84.6 hectares, a total construction area of 243000 square meters, fixed assets of 211 million yuan, and four libraries with a total collection of 558000 books. The continuous improvement of personnel training level ensures that the employment rate of college graduates always remains at a high level. In 2005, the one-time employment rate of higher vocational college graduates reached 98.86%, and the employment rate of secondary vocational college graduates also reached more than 90%. 5. Teachers and management college has a "double qualification" teaching team with rich teaching experience, strong professional ability and high quality.
