Hebei Institute of physical education was founded in Tianjin in 1956, restored and rebuilt in Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province in 1984, and officially approved by the former State Education Commission in 1985. It is the only independent sports college in Hebei Province. Xuefu Road Campus is located in the North Ecological District of Shijiazhuang City, the beautiful Hutuo River, covering an area of more than 500 mu; Zhengding New District campus covers an area of more than 200 mu, adjacent to the Olympic Sports Center of Hebei Province. The campus is full of flowers and trees, which create a beautiful environment for students to study, train, live and grow.

It offers 11 majors in undergraduate education, including physical education, sports training, social sports guidance and management, martial arts and traditional national sports, sports and human science, English, dance, dance performance, leisure sports, property management (large venue management), broadcasting and hosting art. There are physical education (golf and tennis), sports training (3 + 2) and adult education. Physical education and training is a key discipline in Hebei Province, sports humanities sociology, national traditional sports and sports human science are key development disciplines in Hebei Province, Wushu and national traditional sports major and sports training major are national brand characteristic specialty construction points, and social sports major is a national comprehensive reform pilot project; The college has been awarded the provincial undergraduate sports education innovation highland, the provincial minority comprehensive training base, the provincial intangible cultural heritage communication base and so on. Track and field sports, sports research methods, Hebei folk martial arts, aerobics, sports biochemistry, gymnastics, sports training and other seven courses are provincial quality courses. Hebei national fitness monitoring center, Hebei National Fitness Information Center, Hebei model Sports Association, Hebei Orienteering Association and Hebei local throwing association are all headquartered in our hospital. The sports school is the national high level sports reserve talent base.

"Strict with the rule of education, dedication." The college has 320 full-time teachers, including 40 senior teachers and 110 deputy senior teachers, with reasonable structure, excellent quality and vitality. There are 2 teachers with doctoral tutor qualification and 16 teachers with Master Tutor qualification; there are 199 teachers with master degree or above, including 27 doctors; teachers with master degree or above account for 62.2% of the total number of full-time teachers.
