Suqian College

Suqian University, founded in 2002, is a full-time undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of education. The school adopts the school running system and mode of "co construction of provinces and cities and joint construction of eight universities", and cooperates with eight provincial universities, including Nanjing Normal University, Suzhou University, Yangzhou University, Jiangsu University, Nanjing University of technology, Jiangsu Normal University, Nanjing University of Finance and economics and Nanjing Institute of engineering.

The university has eight secondary colleges, a sports department and 38 undergraduate majors, mainly focusing on engineering and learning, covering nine university disciplines, including engineering, arts, science, art, teaching, management, economics, law and agriculture. There are more than 13000 full-time undergraduate students. Among the full-time teachers, 39.5% are professors and associate professors, and 91.4% are doctors and masters. The school covers an area of nearly 1400 mu, with complete teaching, experimental, sports and living facilities. It has a collection of 1.35 million paper books and 1.3 million e-books. The total value of fixed assets is 1.3 billion yuan, and the total value of teaching equipment is more than 100 million yuan. It has 11 experimental centers, 123 laboratories and more than 170 off campus practice bases.

The comparable indicators such as postgraduate entrance examination rate, employment rate, CET-4 and CET-6 passing rate are in the forefront of similar universities in Jiangsu Province. Since running the school, more than 2200 graduates have been admitted to graduate school. Students have won many awards in international and domestic competitions: in the National Mathematical Modeling Contest for college students, they have won the first prize three times.
