Quzhou University

Quzhou university is a public full-time university with undergraduate level. In March 2010, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of Quzhou University on the basis of the former West Zhejiang branch of Zhejiang University of Technology (founded in 1985). The school is located in Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, an excellent tourist city, a national health city and a national garden city.

The school has 9 departments, 6 undergraduate level majors and 29 Junior College (Higher Vocational) level majors, with nearly 6000 full-time students.

The school has abundant teachers, complete teaching facilities and perfect experimental and practical training conditions. Since its establishment, the school has transported nearly 18000 graduates to the society. The employment rate and employment quality of the school have been maintained at a high level, and the graduates are welcomed by the society.

Location: the school is located in the urban area of Quzhou City, facing the Qujiang River in the East and across the river from the old city. School running conditions: the school has excellent comprehensive school running conditions, complete basic facilities, elegant campus environment and pleasant scenery. Teaching and scientific research: in recent years, teaching and scientific research has achieved fruitful results. "Engineering drawing teaching content and teaching method reform" won the second prize of higher education national teaching achievement; and "research and development and application of mechanical main course series CAI courseware" won the first prize of Zhejiang higher education teaching achievement. Teachers published more than 1670 papers in academic journals at home and abroad, 73 of which were included in SCI, EI and ISTP; published 42 books; set up 256 scientific research projects above municipal department level, including 35 provincial and ministerial projects; a preparation method of 2,6-Dichloroaniline won national invention patents.

Enrollment and Employment: the school has 9 departments, including Department of architectural engineering, Department of mechanical and electrical control engineering, Department of chemical and pharmaceutical engineering, Department of information and electronic engineering, Department of economy and trade management, Department of Chinese, Department of mathematics and physics, Department of foreign language, Department of education, etc., and has opened 6 undergraduate majors and 29 junior college and Higher Vocational Majors. Since then, the enrollment of undergraduate majors has increased year by year. In recent years, the employment rate and employment level of all previous graduates of the University have been continuously improved, which is welcomed by employers. According to the training requirements of application-oriented talents, the school actively explores the ways and methods of school enterprise co construction base and talent cultivation in close connection with the industry reality, and has formed the school running characteristics of "school enterprise integration, industry university interaction". In 2005, the University passed the examination and evaluation of the employment of college graduates organized by the Provincial Department of education, and was rated as excellent.

Student training: since 2004, students have won 137 awards at or above the provincial level, including 8 first prizes. (the first prize of the National College Students' modeling competition; the large-scale dance "Dongfanghong" won the first prize of the first national college students' art performance; the dance "Qujiang guchao" won the gold prize in the selection of excellent programs of the large-scale Gala of the seventh China Art Festival.)

Practice bases: there are 59 on campus experiments and training rooms (bases), Quzhou Experimental School (school affiliated), 339 off campus production practice bases and practice schools. Among them, Sinopec Zhenhai Refining and chemical company, Juhua Group Company, Zhejiang Kaishan group, Zhejiang hongwuhuan Machinery Co., Ltd. and other well-known enterprises are our principal and stable practice bases.

Campus Culture: Nankong culture has been rated as the campus culture brand of colleges and universities in the whole province; in addition, it has carried out long-term contests such as speeches, essay solicitation, calligraphy and painting, photography and sports, as well as activities with rich contents and various forms such as evening parties, musicals and dramas.
