PLA Logistics Engineering College

Logistics Engineering College of PLA is a military higher engineering and technical college. Founded in 1961, it was designated as a national key university in 1979 and one of the key construction universities of the whole army. In 1999, he won the title of "excellent teaching unit" in the whole army. In 2006, the college became the key construction college for the overall conditions of "2110 project".

Founded in 1961, the college is located in the beautiful mountain city of Chongqing. It covers an area of more than 1300 mu, with a construction area of more than 400000 square meters. The library has a collection of more than 700000 books, a campus network and an electronic reading room. At present, there are three postdoctoral research stations in civil engineering, chemical engineering and technology, oil and gas engineering, four doctoral degree authorization points in geotechnical engineering, applied chemistry, oil and gas storage and transportation engineering, and rear professional service, as well as five first-class disciplines in civil engineering and 19 second-class disciplines in Applied Chemistry. There are 22 undergraduate and specialized specialties or professional directions in architecture, environmental engineering, civil engineering, oil storage and transportation engineering, etc. The college has one national key discipline, five provincial and municipal key disciplines, four professional disciplines, eight experimental centers, one military key construction laboratory, and advanced teaching and scientific research equipment. The college has 8 professional research institutes, 1 national class a architectural engineering design and Research Institute, 1 National Engineering Testing Center, and 1 national class a geological disaster prevention engineering technology research center. The college is a grade a unit of environmental impact assessment for national construction projects, a grade B unit of special design for pollution control, a grade a unit of water conservation scheme design, and a grade a unit of Chongqing pollution control project. The college has a strong faculty, including one academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, 252 professors and associate professors, 15 doctoral supervisors and 107 master supervisors. Fifty two of them enjoy special government subsidies. Three of them have been selected as young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions from the state. One of them has been selected as the national "one million talent project". Two of them have been awarded the major contribution award of professional technology by the Central Military Commission, and three of them have been criticized as the "first generation leaders" of the General Logistics Department Four of them won the bole award and 12 entered the Samsung project.

Over the past 40 years, the college has trained and transported nearly 40000 logistics professionals, and has achieved more than 1500 scientific research achievements, of which more than 400 have won the national, military and provincial science and technology progress awards.

In recent years, the college has vigorously implemented and promoted quality education and innovation education. Students have participated in the National Undergraduate mechanics, mathematical modeling, electronic design and other competitions, and achieved good results, ranking in the forefront of the national universities and military academies. In 1998, the college successfully passed the evaluation of excellent undergraduate teaching in military engineering colleges. In 2000, it passed the inspection and acceptance of the army's "triple" (key universities, key disciplines and key laboratories) with excellent results.
