Pseudorice
Herbs perennial, up to 80 cm tall. The lower part of the culm is prostrate, while the upper part is obliquely raised and erect. Leaf blade 5-15 cm long, 4-8 mm wide, rough; leaf sheath usually shorter than internode; ligule 1-3 mm long, apex truncated. Panicle 9-12 cm long, branching smooth, angular, erect or oblique, 6 cm long; spikelet 4-6 mm long, grass green or purple; lemma 5-veined, spine spiny, palea 3-veined, midrib spiny; stamen 6, anther about 3 mm long. The flowering and fruiting period is from May to October.
It grows near the water. It is distributed in Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei, Sichuan, Guizhou, Hebei, Henan and other places.

Function indications: dehumidification and diuresis. Treatment of rheumatic paralysis, lower limb edema.
[usage and dosage] oral: decoction, 3-5 yuan. External use: smoked and washed with boiling water.
