[plant morphology] Pittosporum stenophyllum
Evergreen shrubs, 1-2m high, glabrous. Leaf apex 2-22 cm broad or lanceolate, apex not distinctly lanceolate, apex 2-22 cm long, apically lanceolate, or lanceolate. Corymb on top of branch; flowers pale yellow, pedicel thin, 6-10 mm long; sepals 5, triangular; petals 5; stamens 5; pistils glabrous. Capsule pear shaped or ellipsoid, divided into 3 valves at maturity. Seeds yellow red, 5-7 mm long.
Born in hillside forest. It is distributed in Guangdong, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Hubei and southern Shaanxi.

[function indications] heat clearing and dehumidification. Treatment of jaundice, uterine prolapse.
[selection] ① treatment of jaundice: put fruit or whole grass in the mouth of Vajra. Simmer water clothes.
