Perennial herbs, 12-30 cm high. Stems tufted, angular, sparsely white pilose. Pinnate compound leaves alternate, 5 leaflets, base 2 leaflets smaller than top 3 leaflets, top leaflets oblanceolate, 5-17 mm long, 2-5 mm wide, apex short, base transverse, entire, veins on both sides sparsely covered with long white pilose. Flowers 1-3 at the top of the branch, arranged into umbels, with leaflike involucre; calyx broad bell shaped, calyx teeth narrow triangle, outside there are long bristles; corolla yellow, flag petal about 6.5 mm long, top round, base cuneate, keel petal and wing petal several equal length, pod cylindrical, 1.5-2.5 cm long, mature two petal split, there are many seeds. The flowering and fruiting period is from June to September.
It is distributed in Xinjiang, Gansu, Shaanxi, Guizhou and other places.
