[plant morphology] Potentilla sericata
Perennial herbs. Stems prostrate, rooting on nodes, pilose. The basal leaves are trifoliate or palmately compound; the leaflets are obovate, 1-3 cm long and 0.5-1.2 cm wide, with obtuse serrations at the edge, 1 / 3 of the whole margin near the base, with pilose hairs on the top and silky hairs on the bottom; the petioles are slender and pilose; the stipules are membranous; the cauline leaves are similar to the basal leaves; the stipules are small and lanceolate. Flowers solitary, pedicel slender, 2-4 cm long; yellow flowers; calyx spreading, 5-lobed; petals 5, broad, longer than sepals; stamens numerous; carpels numerous. Achene brown with small protuberances.
It grows on hillside, roadside, Bank of ditch or grassland. It is distributed in Henan, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Hubei, Gansu and other places.
