It has 1-3 spikes, 1-3 stem apex; bracts ovate triangle; flowers small, no perianth, yellow green, fragrant; stamens 1, white, rod-shaped, anthers 2-locular; pistils globose, ovary inferior, stigma subcapillary. Drupe globose, bright red. The flowering period is from June to July and the fruiting period is from August to September.
