[plant morphology] Rubia Yunnanensis
Perennial climbing herbs, 1-2 m long. The roots are clustered, slender, thick, cylindrical and slightly curved, 3-5 mm in diameter, and the skin is reddish brown. Stem tetragonal, 4-grooved, margin hairy. Leaf obovate, 1.3-2 cm long, 0.5-1.5 cm wide, apex acute, base broadly cuneate, sessile, entire with bristles, green on top, light on bottom, slightly rough, veins 3, distinct below. Cymes terminal or axillary, flowers small, 5-numbered, yellow white, ca. 0. 3 cm in diameter. Fruit small, ca. 5 mm in diam., black. It blooms in summer.
It grows in the weeds on the sunny hillside. It is distributed in Yunnan and other places.
