Perennial herbs, 15-40 cm high. Stem oblique, quadrangular, hairy. The basal petiole is slender, the leaf blade is broad ovate or heart-shaped, long elliptic, the apex is blunt, the edge has regular round teeth, both sides are hairy, the upper part is green, the lower part is white, the lower part of the leaf is reticulate vein is obvious; the cauline leaf is opposite, the petiole is short. Inflorescence racemose, several at the top of stem; calyx sublabiate, 5-toothed, with short tip, one of the largest upper lip; corolla 2-lipped, blue purple; bracts with large teeth.

Born on rocky hillside or hillside roadside, wet valley. It is distributed in Northwest and Northeast China.
