[plant morphology] Sophora tonkinensis, also known as white Lespedeza, small leaf with hair Wuzhi.
Shrubs, 60-100 cm high. Branchlets densely covered with brownish yellow tomentose. Compound leaves alternate; leaflets 3, long elliptic or elliptic, 2-4.5 cm long, 1-2.2 cm wide, apex round, with small needles, attached villi on both sides, especially dense below, raceme axillary, rachis densely covered with brown villi; pedicel very short; bracteoles linear or oval linear; calyx 5-lobed, lobes lanceolate subulate, densely covered with villi; corolla white, flag petal as long as keel petal Flowers axillary or slightly longer; apetalous, sessile, clustered head. Pods elliptic or obovate round, densely tomentose. The flowering period is from July to September. The fruit period is from September to October.
Born in the jungle on the hillside. It is distributed in most areas of China.
