Perennial herbs, 10-30 cm high. Stems prostrate or oblique, all covered with yellowish pubescence. Leaves opposite or alternate; leaf blade ovate or broadly ovate, 1-2.5 cm long, 5-20 mm wide, apex pointed or obtuse, base rounded or broadly cuneate, extending into a wingstalk, entire, both sides hairy, with black glandular dots below. Flowers solitary in leaf axils, 5-7 mm in diameter; calyx 5-lobed, lobes linear lanceolate, hairy outside, persistent; petals 5-yellow, triangular ovate. Capsule globose, 4-5 mm in diameter. Seeds elliptic, black.

Born on hillside grassland. It is distributed in Guizhou and other places.
