Evergreen shrubs. Branchlets densely pubescent. The leaves are palmately trifoliate, rarely simple; the leaflets are rhombic elliptic or broadly lanceolate, 2-3.8 cm long and 6-20 mm wide, with sharp or obtuse apex, slightly concave, cuneate base, and densely covered with white woolly hairs on both sides; the petiole is 5-10 mm long, with small stipules, which are connected with the petiole and embrace the stem. Raceme terminal, flowers dense; bracts ovate, white pubescent; calyx tubular, sparsely pilose; corolla yellow. Pods flat, oblong, glabrous. Seeds reniform.
Born on sand dunes, hillsides and rivers. Distributed in Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Gansu and other places.
