Slender creeping herbs, 20-40 cm long. Stem green, slender, ca. 2 mm in diam., longitudinally ribbed, branched. Leaves ovate, 5-10 mm long, 4-9 mm wide, apex pointed, base rounded or broadly cuneate, margin coarsely serrated. Flowers small, ca. 5 mm, axillary, sessile; calyx 5-lobed, lobes subtriangular, 3-lobed, base adnate to ovary; corolla white, or lavender, 5-lobed, ovary semiinferior. Capsule.
Born in the tidal wetland beside the mountain road. It is distributed in Guizhou, Yunnan and other places.
