[source] it is the fruit of oleanderaceae plant Luoshi. See "luoshiteng" for plant morphology.
[collection] it is better to collect the unripe fruits in July.
[herbal medicine] follicles, two of which are adult shaped, long cylindrical or fusiform, about 8-20 cm long and 6-10 mm wide, smooth, glabrous, green brown or purple brown, with fine longitudinal lines and gray blue spots. Most of the seeds are linear and flat, brown, about 12 mm long and 2 mm wide, with white hairs on the top.
[function indications] it is used to treat muscle and bone pain.
[usage and dosage] oral: decoction, 1.5 ~ 3 yuan.
