Rubus cuspidata
Subshrub with bristly spines on young branches. Pinnate 3-compound leaves, elliptic ovate leaves, slightly hairy or glabrous leaves above, densely covered with white or gray villi below, leaf margin with regular or irregular small serrations; petiole with spines. Raceme, flowers small, pedicel ca. 2 cm; calyx 5, linear lanceolate; corolla 5; stamens numerous, aggregate drupe.
It is distributed in Sichuan and Northeast China.

[collection] from July to August, they were harvested and dried in the sun.
[flavor] bitter and astringent, flat.
[function indications] detoxification, hemostasis, expectorant, anti-inflammatory, treatment of hematemesis, nosebleed, dysentery.
[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 0.5-1 Liang.
[selected formula] for dysentery: the stems and leaves of Rubus cuspidata and Rubus Xiangqing are decocted and taken together.
