[plant morphology] Solanum nigrum
Herbs perennial, height 50 cm. Stem erect, ribbed, branched, green. Leaves alternate, ovate, irregularly pinnate, lobes broadly linear or lanceolate, apex acuminate, base narrowed, extending into petiole. Cyme, terminal or lateral, flowers purple. Berries small, ovate or globose, less than 1 cm in diameter, red when ripe.
Born on the roadside, water, field, ditch, canal. Distributed in Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu and other places.
