Berries ovate, bright red. The flowering period is June. The fruiting period is July.

It grows in sparse forest in mountain area. It is distributed in Sichuan, Gansu, Qinghai, etc.

20% zushi hemp was made from zushi hemp, soaked in four layers of gauze, applied to the affected area, covered with a layer of plastic cloth, and then bandaged. 10-30 minutes later, local heat, burning pain; 4-6 hours later, blisters.
