Small shrubs, about 50 cm high, densely brown pilose. Leaves alternate, oblong ovate, 4-8 cm long, 3-5 cm wide, apex short, base cordate, entire; petiole short, petiole densely hairy; stipules lanceolate, with raised veins, margin hairy. Raceme; scallop bracts, oblate, 15-18 mm long, 30-42 mm wide, apex truncate or rounded, rarely acute, sometimes slightly concave, with orange red glandular dots inside, long hairs on veins, margin hairy, sparse hairs on veins outside; sepals lanceolate; corolla rose red. The flowering period is from October to December.
It is distributed in Guizhou, Yunnan and other places.
