[plant morphology] Miscanthus Sagittarius
Perennial herbs. Stem erect, tufted, 60-100 cm high. Leaf blade linear lanceolate, 8-30 cm long, 8-15 mm wide, apex acuminate, base 2-lobed, arrowhead shaped, with petiole 10 cm long, with slender warty hairs on the lower surface; leaf sheath smooth glabrous; ligule membranous, 2-4 mm long. Panicle 9-15 cm long, branches nearly whorled, spikelets 5-6.5 mm long, gray green, twin spikelets one stipitate one sessile, two spikelets equal, villous; spikelets with two flowers, the first male, the second bisexual.
It grows in the mountains and undergrowth. It is distributed in Yunnan.
