Dwarf evergreen shrub, 20-30 cm high. The stem is yellowish brown, densely hairy, with obvious stipule marks on the nodes, and grows obliquely upward. Cyme terminal, flowers white. Berries are spherical or oval, as large as peas, and blue when ripe. It blooms in summer.
