Life of the characters
Xin Quan has been very intelligent since he was a child. At the age of six or seven, many old people were surprised that they dared to talk about ancient books such as the river map and Luoshu in public. When he was young, he went to a private school and devoted himself to studying the works of famous Neo Confucianists. When reading the works of Er Cheng and Zhu Xi, they always burn incense, sit upright and study seriously. And the famous sayings of Er Cheng and Zhu Xi are respectfully transcribed as his criterion of dealing with people, so most people call him "Xin Fu Zi". Bi Ziyan, the magistrate of Jiangzhou, once paid a visit in person. At that time, when Nan Juyi was in Jiangzhou, he took an exam for all the students. Xin Quan's articles were well written, the style met the requirements, and the argument was also very applicable. Nan Juyi listed his name in the quota of scholars. Soon after, Xinquan paid homage to Cao Zhenyu, a native of Anyi, as a teacher. He became more proficient in his studies and gained a great reputation. There is a scholar named Li chengci who is over 70 years old. He admires Xin Quan's knowledge and is willing to join in as a disciple. At that time, famous scholars such as Feng Shaoxu in Guanzhong and he Yangheng in ChuZhong all came to him for advice, while officials in the court, such as Wu Sheng, Ni Yuanlu and Lu Zhenfei, all tried to recommend his talent and morality to the court. In 1628 (the reign of Chongzhen), Xin Quan went to Beijing for an examination. Prime Minister He Fengzhi recommended him to the imperial court. The emperor issued an imperial edict to Xin Quan as a magistrate. At this time, Xin Quan hurried back to his hometown because of his mother's death. After the funeral, he suddenly fell ill and died. His lifelong ambition could not be put into practice. Xin Quan was a leader of the Jiangyang school and respected by people at that time. Li Shengguang, Dangcheng and Wen Yangmeng were all his disciples. After his death, his disciples gave him the title of Wen Jing.

Xin Quan wrote many works in his life. According to the records of the old annals, there are 28 kinds of works, such as yangxinlu, sishushushushuo, wujingguankan, shenjingchanji, hengmenqin, shengshenjie, xiaojingqueyi, yangzhengji, Yiyue, jingshishuohua, xiaojingyi, xiaoqinpian, zhipingyemou, jiujidan, letianji, etc.
