Luo Lirong
Luo Lirong (1901-1991), born in Quxian County, Sichuan Province, graduated from the second phase of Huangpu Military Academy and was a general of the national revolutionary army. In July 1928, he was the chief of staff of the 2nd brigade of the 1st division of the national revolutionary army. In November 1930, he was the head of the 5th regiment of the 2nd brigade of the 1st division. In 1931, he was once transferred to the chief of staff of the 1st division. At the beginning of 1935, he was the deputy commander of the 2nd brigade of the 1st division. In October 1936, he was the deputy commander of the major general of the 78th division of the 1st army. After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese war in 1937, he took part in the battle of Songhu. In May 1938, he served as the commander of the 40th division of the 8th Army and participated in the battle of Lanfeng. In April 1939, he served as deputy commander of the 1st army and commander of the 2nd corps of the 15th students of the 7th branch of the Central Military Academy. In 1940, he was the director of the general office of the 7th branch of the Central Military Academy, and in 1941, he was the commander of Longnan division. He served as commander of the 36th army in October 1942 and lieutenant general of the 3rd army in January 1945. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he took part in the civil war and was captured in the battle of Qingfengdian in Hebei Province on October 21, 1947. He was pardoned on November 28, 1960, and later served as a member of the cultural and historical information committee of the CPPCC National Committee and a member of the CPPCC National Committee. He died in Beijing on July 6, 1991.

On May 17, 1935, he served as an infantry lieutenant colonel of the Syrian army.
On April 9, 1936, he became an infantry colonel. In September, he was promoted to major general and deputy division commander of the 78th division (division commander Ding Delong).
In August 1937, he was transferred to be the major commander of the 12th student corps of the Central Military Academy.
In February 1938, he was transferred to the post of major general of the 2nd corps of the 15th issue of the 7th branch of the military academy (concurrently director Hu zongnan). In May, he was transferred to the post of major general of the 40th division (the third Regiment under the jurisdiction of the Division). In August, he was transferred to the post of major general director of the general office of the 7th branch of the Central Military Academy.
On April 29, 1939, he was promoted to lieutenant general and deputy commander of the first army (commander Tao Zhiyue). On July 13, Jin became a major general of the army.
On October 15, 1942, he was promoted to lieutenant general of the 36th Army (under the jurisdiction of the 15th, 52nd and 59th divisions).
On January 9, 1945, he was transferred to the post of lieutenant general of the 3rd Army (under the jurisdiction of the 7th and 22nd divisions). He was awarded the medal of loyalty and diligence on October 10.
He was awarded the medal of victory on May 5, 1946.
On October 21, 1947, he was defeated in the battle of Qingfengdian in Dingxian County, Hebei Province, and was captured by the people's Liberation Army and then held in the Security Department of the North China military region.
In December 1952, he was sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment and transferred to Beijing Gongdelin.
On November 28, 1960, after the release of amnesty, he was appointed a member of the cultural and historical information committee of the CPPCC National Committee.
In May 1983, he was elected member of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference (chairman Deng Yingchao).
He died in Beijing on July 6, 1991.
