Wang Ling

Wang Ling (1894-1978), a native of Jining County, Shandong Province, was fond of ink and martial arts when he was a child. He once worshipped yuan Sisheng, an imperial painter of the Qing Dynasty, as his teacher. He joined Wu Peifu's military camp as a clerical assistant in the Republic of China. Wang linggong was good at calligraphy and was good at flowers and birds. He was especially famous for plum blossom painting. During the Republic of China, he was known as "Wang plum blossom" in Beijing and Tianjin.

Wang Ling, a native of Changshu, Jiangsu Province. The freehand characters, flowers and fruits, spread out quickly, are left by Chen Hongshou. Notes of Yan Tian Zhai, written by Ye yuan, is a Gongsheng in Pucheng, Fujian Province. Good at painting, no fake carving, no natural interest. Together with Liu Peiyi, a famous Shanghai style painting who lived in Yangquan, Wang Ling pioneered the two major painting systems in Yangquan area. Wang Ling's paintings are rare in the world. It's hard to find a single painting!
