Wu Yi
Wu Yi (?)? In 237, he wrote Wu Yi, whose name was Ziyuan. Yanzhou Chenliu (now Kaifeng City, Henan Province) people. During the Three Kingdoms period, the famous general and relatives of Shu Han, the elder brother of Wu family, empress mu of Shu Han.
Wu Yichu entered Shu with Liu Yan, and Liu Zhang was the general of Zhonglang at that time. After Liu Bei attacked Liu Zhang, Wu Yi surrendered to Liu Bei and served as a general, a guard and a governor of Guanzhong. Later, he followed Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of Shu Han Dynasty, in the northern expedition of Cao Wei, and with Wei Yan in Yangxi defeated Wei generals Guo Huai and Fei Yao, who were promoted to Zuo general and became the Marquis of Gaoyang. After Zhuge Liang's death, he was appointed governor of Hanzhong, promoted to General of chariot, governor of Yongzhou, and Marquis of Jiyang. In 237, Wu Yi died.
Wu Yi was an important general of the Shu Han Dynasty at that time because of her status as empress mu of Wu family.

Wu Yi was born in Chenliu County of Yanzhou, and his Uncle Wu Kuang was a subordinate officer of general He Jin in the Eastern Han Dynasty.
Liu Yanqian was appointed as a herdsman in Yizhou. Because his father had a good friendship with Liu Yan, Wu Yi took his family to Sichuan. Later, Liu Yan had the idea of becoming an emperor by himself. People who were good at facial expression said that Wu Yi's sister Wu's family would have a very noble position in the future, so he asked his son Liu Mao, who followed him to Sichuan, to marry Wu's family.
In the 17th year of Jian'an (212), Liu Bei led the attack on Liu Zhang and occupied Fucheng in Guanghan county. In the 18th year of Jian'an (213), Liu Zhang dispatched Wu Yi, who was then general of Zhonglang, and his generals Zhang Ren, Liu Ruo, lengbao, Deng Xian to fight against Liu Bei's army in the area of Fu County, but they were all defeated by Liu Bei, and all the troops retreated to Mianzhu. Wu Yi led his army to surrender to Liu Bei and was appointed as a general to fight against the enemy.
In the summer of the 19th year of Jian'an (214), Liu Bei pacified Yizhou, worshipped Wu Yi as a guard, and married Wu Yi's sister, Wu Shi, who was a widow at that time.
In the first year of Zhangwu (221), Liu Bei became emperor and established Shuhan. Wu Yi was promoted to governor of Guanzhong.
Meritorious achievements in the Northern Expedition
In 223, Liu Bei died. In May, the crown prince Liu Chan succeeded to the throne and changed the Yuan Dynasty to Jianxing.
In the sixth year of Jianxing (228), Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of Shu Han Dynasty, launched a northern expedition against Cao Wei, and Wu Yi also went out with the army.
In the eighth year of Jianxing (230), Wu Yi and Prime Minister Sima Weiyan led troops to the west of Qiang under the order of Zhuge Liang and attacked Liangzhou area of Cao Wei. The Han Army marched to Yangxi area and encountered the army of Fei Yao, the general of Cao Wei, and Guo Huai, the general of Yongzhou. Wu Yi was granted the title of Marquis of tinghou, Marquis of Gaoyang Township, and was promoted to general Zuo.
In February of 231, the ninth year of Jianxing, Zhuge Liang, the Prime Minister of Shu Han, made the fourth northern expedition to Cao Wei. In June, due to the heavy rain, the Han army retreated back to Shu. In August, after the army returned, Li Yan, who was in charge of transporting grain and grass, tried to shirk his responsibility. Wu Yi and Zhuge Liang jointly wrote a letter to Liu Chan, who asked to depose Li Yan.
Out of Hanzhong
In 234, Zhuge Liang died of illness. Wu Yi was appointed as the governor of Hanzhong. He went out of Hanzhong County, an important military town of Shuhan, and moved to be a general of motorcycles. He was awarded the Jiefu, the governor of Yongzhou, and the Marquis of Jiyang.
In 237, Wu Yi died.
Main achievements
When Wu Yi was in the Shu Han Dynasty, he accompanied Zhuge Liang, the prime minister, to the northern expedition of Cao Wei, and with Wei Yan, the great general, he defeated Guo Huai and Fei Yao in Yangxi. After Zhuge Liang died, he went out to defend Hanzhong, an important town, against the attack of Cao Wei.

Wu Yi volunteered and led the troops to the rescue. Unexpectedly, Zhao Yun and Zhang feisheng captured Wu Yi, so he surrendered. Liu Bei called himself the king of Hanzhong and married Wu Yi's younger sister. When Zhuge Liang left for the northern expedition, Wu Yi followed him as general Zuo and Marquis Gaoyang and made many achievements. After Zhuge Liang died, Wu Yi accompanied Jiang Wei to guard Hanzhong.
