Zhang Yuguang
Zhang Yuguang is a modern painter and art educator. In the "new stage", the setting was first designed and used, which changed the traditional stage appearance of Peking Opera and became an early stage artist in China. After the founding of new China, Zhang Yuguang was employed as a painter of Shanghai Chinese Academy of painting.

Zhang Yuguang (1885-1968) is a modern painter and art educator.
The word crane Cangtou, another name Ye Ou Zhai Lord.
He is from Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province.
In 1904, he painted a photo set at Huamei pharmacy in Shanghai. In the same year, he cooperated with Xia yuerun, an innovator of Peking Opera, to design and use the set at the "new stage", which changed the traditional stage appearance of Peking Opera and became an early stage artist in China.
Next year, he transferred to Ningbo Yizhi hall as a picture teacher.
In 1907, he returned to Shanghai and worked as a picture teacher in the Chinese Youth Association school.
From 1909 to 1911, he published comics in minhu daily, minxu daily, Minli daily and other newspapers, including Yuan Shikai's satirical works Yuan Shikai riding a Trojan horse and rice bucket, which had a wide influence. He is one of the earliest cartoonists who published political satire in newspapers.
He also illustrated children's books.
In the autumn of 1914, he was employed as the second president of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts (the predecessor of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts).
In 1919, he participated in the development and production of painting pigments in Shanghai Marley craft factory.
In 1928, he was the vice president of Shanghai Xinhua art college.
During the war of resistance against Japan, he went to the rear area and never stopped painting. He held art exhibitions in Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming and other places.
After the founding of new China, he was employed as a painter of Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy.
He was engaged in the creation and teaching of Western painting in his early years and Chinese painting in his later years.
His works are widely drawn, with a style close to Ren Yi's and a combination of Chinese and Western painting methods. His composition is novel, and his colors are fresh and gorgeous. He is also very influential abroad. His works are collected in the National Museum of France and the Berlin Academy of art in Germany.
He is a member of China Artists Association, a director of Shanghai Branch of China Artists Association, and a librarian of Shanghai Municipal Museum of culture and history.
Handed down works include "the sea of clouds in Huangshan" and "the peacock" (collected in Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy).
He published two episodes of Yu Guang's paintings (1935).
