Huang Xi
Huang Xi (date of birth and death unknown), the word Jing Wei, Fujian Jian'an people in the Northern Song Dynasty.
He is famous for Taoism. He mainly studied Chunqiu and Zhouyi. He once said, "Zuo's Chunqiu Fanli is a little bit of a sage, and he also said," Zheng Kangcheng's Zhouyi Xiangshu is extremely profound and respected by Fujian scholars. Chen Jing, the prefect of Quanzhou, and Chen Jiang, the prefect of Fuzhou, both hired him as the lecturer, and personally led the students to listen. He once imitated the writing style of "on grammar" and wrote 10 chapters of "on superfluous and trivial" to clarify the moral obscurity of predecessors and the gains and losses of ancient and modern governance. He explained: "the redundant corner is the name of the thing (the name of the thing that is cut and revived), the redundant corner is the name of the sigh (onomatopoeia), and the trivial corner is the name of the thing.". He also wrote 10 new treatises on Yang Ting, which discussed the important affairs at that time.
During the reign of Jingyou (1034-1037), Huang Xi was 40 years old. He thought that Kyoto was the place where the world was full of people and culture. If he wanted to experience the world's principles and read books that were not seen in the world, he had to live in the capital. So he moved to a remote place in Kyoto and many studious people came to visit him. At that time, Shi Jie was in charge of the Imperial College. He used to be called with high etiquette, but he escaped to his neighbor's house. Han Weigong, the prime minister, recommended that the emperor appointed him as an assistant teacher of Taixue. He died just one night after receiving the appointment. This was in the second year of Jiayou (1057). After Huang Xi's death, only tens of thousands of volumes of books were left in his family. His son was unable to transport the coffin for burial, so he had to send the funeral to the backyard of Yangzi temple in Jiangdu County, where Huang Xi's old friends buried Jiangdu. Luo shite, the Prime Minister of Jiangdu, built the temple of Mr. Yu, which was written by Su Song, a Fujian official in the dynasty.
